WELCOME TO DENVER’S
MOST AUTHENTICALLY LOCAL CORRIDOR.

The Broadway General Improvement District is a community-driven organization bringing new energy and real resources to South Broadway.

The Broadway headquarters building features a large sign with contact number 303-905-2827 and mentions services like hospitality, safety, and sanitation. The building is multi-story, with a brick exterior, and is fenced with vertical iron bars.

WHY WE EXIST

After decades of challenges, the people who love Broadway refused to give up. Now, a new chapter begins—and you’re a part of it. This past fall, our community made history by passing the Broadway General Improvement District, a big, exciting step toward the Broadway we all know it can be.

The Broadway GID brings new energy and real resources to the corridor: safer and cleaner streets, exciting events, and marketing that puts Broadway on the map. Broadway's three existing Local Maintenance Districts, created back in the 1970s, have kept the lights on — but their funding only stretches so far. The GID changes all of that. By replacing the three LMDs, we're pooling our energy and resources to create a corridor that's dynamic, welcoming, and built to thrive for generations to come.

Clean & Safe Streets

From litter removal to a welcoming ambassador presence, we're working every day to make Broadway look and feel its best. Our team is out in the neighborhood building connections and making sure everyone — residents, visitors, and business owners alike — feels at home.

Marketing & Events

A beige tote bag with bold brown text and symbols, and a pink megaphone. The bag displays the phrase "Do it like a local" repeatedly with various icons representing local themes, and locates South Broadway in Denver, CO.

South Broadway has one of the best stories in Denver. We're here to make sure people hear it. Through events, campaigns, and community programming, we bring people to the corridor and give them reasons to keep coming back. The Halloween Parade. Holiday on Broadway. Community Support

Connecting residents and businesses to resources. Advocating for the corridor in city government. Making sure South Broadway has a seat at every table that matters and a voice in every conversation that affects it.

WHO WE ARE

We are your neighbors. The Broadway GID grew out of nearly two years of work by the Broadway Merchants Association to keep the whole neighborhood informed, involved, and heard.

Our board and ambassador team are made up of people who spend time on this street, know its businesses by name, and are putting in the work because they believe in what South Broadway is and what it can become.
